Horse Drawn Wagon Rides

Enjoy a scenic hay wagon ride in a high mountain meadow and through the Black Hills National Forest. Our wagons are pulled by beautiful black Percheron draft horses and some are pulled by tractor. Be sure to bring your camera as you will at times be amongst grazing herds of cattle, where deer, wild turkey and occasional elk can be seen as well. We take a couple of rest stops for the horses, affording you the opportunity for photographs or just get up and stretch your legs. The rides are 1hr. long. You may take the ride only or enjoy both the ride and a delicious meal in a Black Hills outdoor ranch setting. You have a choice of 3 different rides each day. Breakfast, Dinner or Supper. BREAKFAST RIDE…..departs ranch at 8:00 a.m. (check in at 7:30) returns at 9:00 a.m. and breakfast will be served.
(Reservations required by 3:00 p.m. the day before)
MENU: Scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, and jelly with cowboy coffee and orange juice.
ADULTS: $ 29 CHILDREN: (12 and under) $ 25 (3 and under on parents lap are FREE)

DINNER RIDE…departs ranch at 12:00 noon, (check in at 11:30) returns at 1:00 p.m. and dinner will be served.
(Reservations required by 8:00 a.m. that day)
MENU: Buffalo burgers, beans, chips with lemonade.
ADULTS: $ 29 CHILDREN: (12 and under) $ 25 (3 and under on parents lap are FREE)

SUPPER RIDE……..departs ranch at 5:00 p.m. (check in at 4:30) returns at 6:00 p.m. and supper will be served.
(Reservations required by 2:00 p.m. that day)
MENU: Buffalo burgers, cowboy beans, coleslaw, and dessert, with coffee and lemonade.
ADULTS: $ 32 CHILDREN: (12 and under) $ 28 (3 and under on parents lap are FREE)

DIRECTIONS
From Custer: 3 miles north on Hwy. 16 to Heritage Village. Turn left on Medicine Mt. Road and go for .7 mile. Turn left onto Custer Limestone Road and go for 1 mile to Ruby Creek Ranch on right side of road.
